Grand Geneva and Timber Lodge Reservations Live Monday

Greetings Gary Con XV Goers!

The room reservation links for both the Grand Geneva Resort and Timber Ridge Lodge open up at 10 AM Central time on Monday September 19th, 2022.  As the veteran attendees know, rooms will very likely sell out in minutes.  So if you want to stay in the Grand or in the Timber Lodge I recommend being on right at 10 AM to have a better chance of securing a room.  For our new attendees I’ll give you a little information on the properties.  The Grand is where the bulk of Gary Con is located including the majority of event space as well as the exhibit hall.  The Grand will have tableside food service as well as a couple lounges and restaurants to sustain hungry adventurers.  The Timber Lodge is on the Grand Geneva Campus less than 1 mile away from the Grand itself.  It has an indoor waterpark that is great for families with children.  The accommodations are spacious and can house several people.  Timber has a restaurant that serves BBQ and pizza as well as a some event space on the first floor.  There is a free shuttle that services Timber about every 10-15 minutes so it is a convenient place to stay and my kids enjoyed it when they stayed there a few years ago at GC X. For those who are not able to get lodging at one of these hotels, do not despair!  There are plenty of options within a 15 minute drive or less. Please review the options we have on the GC website here: https://garycon.com/travel-hotel/  I stayed at the Comfort Suites for Gary Con I and it met all my needs.  I have heard that the Holiday Inn Vacation Club is very nice, and if you want to save a few bucks, the Hampton Inn in Elkhorn may be a good choice.  Lake Geneva is a summer tourist spot but in March there should be many hotels and home rental units available.
